For a start Venables don’t design kitchens. We’re not a “Kitchen Manufacturer”. We don’t offer the clever computerised 3D drawings of the high street companies, using whatever standard units they have to fit in your space. You are not limited to what we have in the catalogue because we don’t have a catalogue.

We work with you to make you a unique, lovingly crafted composition in wood. We will fashion a kitchen to fit the style of your home be it Gothic, Contemporary, New England, hand painted, Victorian Terrace, or 1930’s semi-detached. You’ll want somewhere to sit, somewhere to eat and somewhere to think. Perhaps you want somewhere to show off your precious china or that bowl you bought in the Cotswolds.

At Venables we can create that special item to suit. And the pebbles and shells your children picked up on the beach at Findhorn last May? With you we can create just the right setting.We craft tables and chairs to order as well as the fitted shelving, the counter tops, the radiator covers and everything else to suit. Our free standing pieces can go with you when you move house.They may well become your family heirlooms.

We work with many different timbers and we can finish your kitchen with a clear natural finish or a variety of paint finishes.
